A FIRST FOR MEATH
The Royal County is known around the world for its famous megalithic heritage sites and the well preserved early art found at these historic sites. These early people, our ancestors, were the innovators of their day and pioneered their art from the soil and stone that lay at their feet. As we follow in their footsteps, our modern contemporary MEATH MADE makers and creators share a common bond, a love of nature and a love of art & design.

Black Anvil
Maciek Robaczynski
Woodworker
Black Anvil Shaving is a small workshop based in Enfield, Co. Meath, specializing in handcrafted shaving brushes.
Each brush is individually handmade using interesting materials like ancient Irish bog oak and bog yew wood. Wood that has been preserved in Irish bogs for thousands of years. Brushes are crafted using traditional techniques combined with ergonomic design.
Every brush that leaves the workshop carries it’s own story and it’s unique as the wood it's made from.
